Deliverable D5.1, the Handbook on District Heating Business Models, was developed under the LIFE22-CET-SET_HEAT project to support the market uptake of innovative district heating solutions and Europe’s heating decarbonisation. It turns technical, environmental, legal, market, and socio-economic findings from earlier project work into practical business model concepts for SET_HEAT investment projects.
This document presents guidelines for the strategic planning of the energy transition and decarbonisation of existing DH systems and the development of investment projects.
